WHY CHOOSE US

Firm History

Hadwiger & Jungman, P.L.L.C. is a professional limited liability company with its principal place of business located in Cherokee, Oklahoma. The primary purpose of the establishment of Hadwiger & Jungman, P.L.L.C. was for its members to engage in the practice of law. The law firm is currently recognized as Hadwiger & Jungman, P.L.L.C.; however, the firm has been operated by many owners under different titles since its commencement prior to Statehood, making it the oldest continuously operated law-firm in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. The firm was initially established by A.J. Titus, the founding father of Cherokee, in 1894. A.R. Carpenter joined Mr. Titus in his practice and the firm was then operated as Titus & Carpenter. Subsequent to the departure of A.J. Titus, Mr. Carpenter operated the firm by himself until 1939 when Loyd W. Hadwiger joined the firm after serving three terms as Alfalfa County Judge. After the demise of A.R. Carpenter, Mr. Hadwiger continued as a sole practitioner until he was joined by his son, Ronald R. Hadwiger, in 1963 and the firm was operated as Hadwiger & Hadwiger. Ronald R. Hadwiger also continued as a sole practitioner after Loyd Hadwiger’s demise in 1969, until he was joined by his son, Kyle B. Hadwiger, in 1982 and the firm was again recognized as Hadwiger & Hadwiger. Ronald R. Hadwiger retired in 1995 and Kyle B. Hadwiger operated the firm as Hadwiger Law Firm until he was joined by Marcus Jungman in 2001. Other past members of the firm include Todd Burlie, Jesse D. Kline and the Honorable Mickey J. Hadwiger.
